The meals served onboard were delicious, with a mix of Western and Indian dishes to cater to different tastes and preferences.

The bathroom facilities could use some updating, as there were reports of mold and grime.

For families with children, it would be great to have a crew member who speaks fluent English. This would have allowed us to learn more about the history of the area and village life.

The boat ride through the narrow canals was a unique and special part of the trip. I felt spoiled by the crew and their perfect service. it was a relaxing and enjoyable way to escape for a few days.

We had a fantastic time exploring the stunning backwaters of Alappuzha on the Spice Coast Cruises houseboat. The boat staff were incredibly friendly and made sure our family had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The open dining space and sun deck provided the perfect setting for bonding and soaking up the beautiful scenery. The bedrooms were cozy and the en-suite shower rooms had ample hot water. The highlight of our trip was the delicious food prepared by the talented chef, Rahul. The whole experience was truly unforgettable.

For dads, it would be great to have more kid-friendly activities onboard.
